The Flying V.
As Gill mentioned this event provides something for everyone; and we can certainly appreciate all Megaspeed had to offer, I even entertained the idea of trying to get my car there next year
Can’t argue with the rat rod look, it suits certain cars so well.
Some of my favorites from the “tuner” section above.
Many of these old school builds put just about everything else to shame
There are 3 shows we never miss. Eurokracy, H2Oi and Fitted. We do everything that was can to help Dave put on a great show. We will once again have a booth setup with stickers and tees on offering. Geoff’s A4 will be featured in our booth. We are also hoping to get a few more cars into the indoor venue The venue will take place at the Brampton Fairgrounds, and it is booth indoors and outdoors. The indoor section will be offered to the chosen and is much bigger than last year. The registration and selection process are already underway. LINK.
There were some complaints about the gravel last year. However with the indoor section being that much larger this year, if your car is good enough to be inside, it probably will be.
“FITTED™ is an aspirational event created originally in 2010 to promote, foster, and expand the Automotive Lifestyle community. Over the span of five years, we have successfully hosted and expanded our event to converge all cross-cultural elements which this audience prescribes to. FITTED™ is not just a car show. It is a community built upon custom-crafted awards, unique activities, giveaways, sport, fashion, positive relationships, and most importantly, fun! As enthusiasts, we understand and live the lifestyle not from outside the culture but amongst you, our peers. We look forward to bringing you another successful year and thank you for your interest in FITTED™!”
Performance VW has enlisted our help to cover Eurokracy 2013. The article was published in the April issue. The Scraped.Crusaders. provided the words and images, while the Eurokracy crew provided the one of best car shows in Canada. The issue also happens to feature UNIX Performance’s amazing grean MK1, and a bagged Audi 80. We suggest you take a gander.
@brandonmckiernannn has one of lowest E34s on Instagram. It’s still a work in progress, however we can still admire the stance. Luckily for me Brandon also happens to be very helpful. He was very open in answering any questions I had about his offsets, widths and coilovers. The modified car community is a better place when we’re nice to one another. I was never happy giving out my wheel specs, and camber angles etc. but I knew if I could help save a fellow enthusiast some heartache, I was better off helping them. Hopefully, I can be this low come summer time.
Early February means one thing for us…. we get to attend press day for the Canadian International Autoshow. We are privileged to be accredited media for the event. Roaming the show floor with only press minus the hustle and bustle of the general public is a totally different experience. We are allowed to take much better photos and get a more in depth and personal experience with most of the cars. We’re not in the market for a 6 figure luxury sedan anytime soon, but it’s nice pretending for a day.
The Mclaren P1 is hands down THE one car you need to see at the CIAS. It is the new bedroom poster king. Taking over from our F40, 959, Countach, and F1 posters. Pfaff also brought out their MP4-12C Spa-F and roadster to the super car hall. While the Heffner Turbo R8, Porsche 964 Turbo and Mercedes SLS Roadster were among their other display cars in their other display.
One would think racecars standing still are a sad sight. They unfortunately can`t be racing all of the time. Luckily they look just as fast standing still. Can`t get enough splitters, diffusers, wings, toe hooks, centre locks.
Road cars and concepts make up most of the show floor. The last few photos show off an awesome paint finish from Ferrari. Also great shades of blue from BMW and Subaru.
