Scraped Crusaders at Spring Fling Via Dave

Spring Fling this year was bigger  than we anticipated. I do not remember the last time the venue filled up so quickly.  Though, the weather forecast helped.  I think its about time a new venue is used.  Photos by David Morgan.

I for one felt my stock E34 was better suited across the street.  Since I had the car straight piped the day before, a few ricer flybys were in store…..worth.  The rest of the crew was relegated to the far grass as Adrian’s newly turbo’d Mk2 was acting up.

Not often do you see this big of a generation gap at one event.  I’m not sure I can chose between the two.

I might be slightly biased, but Mauricio’s Mk2 is still my favourite.

Mk3 on reverse mounted RSIIs.  Such a different look to my old set.

Of course I’m posting the only e34 from Spring Fling.

Fitted 2014

There are 3 shows we never miss.  Eurokracy, H2Oi and Fitted.   We do everything that was can to help Dave put on a great show.  We will once again have a booth setup with stickers and tees on offering.  Geoff’s A4 will be featured in our booth. We are also hoping to get a few more cars into the indoor venue  The venue will take place at the Brampton Fairgrounds, and it is booth indoors and outdoors. The indoor section will be offered to the chosen and is much bigger than last year.  The registration and selection process are already underway.  LINK.

There were some complaints about the gravel last year.  However with the indoor section being that much larger this year, if your car is good enough to be inside, it probably will be.

H2Oi GTGs – Matt

There are three parts to H20i.  Cruising the strip,  the get togethers and the show.  These are the GTGs.  Each year dozens of GTGs are announced/scheduled online.  A few years ago they centered around the Convention Center.  Last year they were at either Taphouse or Roses. Unfortunately, it looks like the property owners of the Roses complex are shutting that area down in the future.  On to 115th?

We just gravitated to Taphouse.  We were never sure what meet was going down, we just knew it was the place to be.

Golden Showers.

IMG_4026 We were able to set up a few shoot with Matt over the week.  This was our first one.  Think it’s safe to say we started with the best. Us – “You sure you want to do this?” Anthony – “Ya” Us – “You should probably put your windows up” Anthony – “they don’t go up” Not verbatim, but that’s pretty much how we prepared for the fountain shots.  Sometimes you just do what you have to, to get that shot.  Glad Matt was there, as I forgot to take photos of this.

It’s a rarity for myself to be this attracted to old VAG content at H20i.  It’s dat character.  We’re glad to have met you Anthony, see you next year.   IMG_3962IMG_3960

Cars and Coffee Finale Pt .2

I’ve grown to really like these meets.

We have a weakness for redheads.

Though, she won’t take the place of our number one love, the GT3RS.

Deathlens x H2Oi 2012 part 1

This man has had to go through 40gbs of video and photos.  It’s been worth the wait IMO.  We’ll also post them in 2 halves.   Altogether H20i 2012 was an awesome time.  Still more pics on the way!!
Wagon fever.  So many this year. I THINK, this one had the WAGONE plate.  :)

Mmmm, yes.  -_-

MAXWGN….Joe C from Canibeat.

Battle reday CRX.

Still not a fan of the new Passats but bags and beebs are persuasive.

S2k, creepin in.

H20i Meets and GTGs

The real attraction to H20i are the get togethers.  I did miss a few that I really should have gone to.  The biggest and best is the Outcasts meet, where everything non-VAG is represented.  The Canibeat meet also had a great showing.  TBH, the best cars there were non-VAG.  With the convention centre being shut down for the year, the main hubs were now the Taphouse bar on 45th st and Roses on 94th.  I don’t like stroking Geoff’s ego, cause it’s big enough as it is.  But his faux toes have been on the up swing as of late.  61 Images. All well worth the look. Via Mad Hatter (Geoff)

Huge makeover for this car…previously a dark tan colour.  Favourite colour of the week.
Legacy bretheren.  Same chassis, yet they look so different.
Shark nose.

Colour combo caught me off gaurd.  Never would have thought tan on yellow would work so well.

Fender on lip.  Bagged TTs ftw.

Copper dipped and clear coated. Favourite wheel colour.

Scraped.Crusaders. X Deathlens at OptionJDM

Last week a few of us made it out to the OptionJDM BBQ.  Sweet get together with a lot of JDM goodness.  Deathlens put together the following video for your viewing pleasure.

Stretch and Poke 2012: Fitted

We braved the intensely overcast sky yesterday to attend the first Stretch and Poke show of 2012. Having attended MOST of these events in the past it is safe to say this show has grown exponentially and there doesn’t seem to be any sign of that changing.

Scraped.

Get’s the people going!
