I have owned 13 sets of BBS, 4 sets of Rikens, 2 sets of Works, a single set of CCWs, countless OEM sets; and now, my dream set of OZs. Few wheels look as good as the Futuras; in my opinion of course. They need some work, not a lot. So they will be a side project while the LMs (which are currently being re-finished) are in use on the A4.
If there were a brand made for this winterscape its Audi. Moreso an old Audi. An RS2 and an S2. While the Subie handled itself well in the snowstorm this morning, I would have much rather had that RS2.
For me, H20i is the strip. I’m not a VW guy. I’m there to cruise up and down Coastal all weekend long. And have the occasional race. Considering Bron’s BMW and my Subie are both slow as balls, he was the only person I’d race. Our first race, I missed third so hard I didn’t even bother searching for it and let off.
Steve is washing off the newly painted E30. Silver RS’ on White looks great. I MAY be biased though. :)
Shits going down when Matt has his trunk open.
Stopped by at the DQ to reminisce about our first H20 trip. LINK>
Caught some rollers and this purple B5 pulled over for a few warnings.
Cruised some more and stopped at 56th for some more shots.
After a quick pitstop at Cars and Coffee I made my way over to the 2013 Subaru Hypermeet. I felt like there was a tad more variety this year compared to previous years. HREs would not have been seen before. Neither would that Forester trailer combo.
This. Pretty much the car I lusted after in high school Blue GC, with rally style (Compomotive, Impuls etc) wheels.
Satin red Plastidipped GD. Well done.
My old wheels!! The owner is still happy with them. Even sporting the same 2+ year old paint job. Industrial rust paint FTW.
Tremcladed by the owner on his driveway. Impressize. My tremcladed bumper on the other hand looks like ass.
Despite the entire day of rain and the long drive the cruise was certainly a success. We had over 20 cars; which despite being tough to coordinate, was a great turnout!
The show itself had a different venue than last year which allowed for full 1/4 mile runs and a better layout for the vendor area. Personally, I think the Mustangs stole the drag race show (despite this being a Euro event).
As always, we had a blast!
The show was certainly not lacking of some serious cars…
A few of my favorite Audi’s, from the internet and real life.
