This is usually the FINAL event on the Scraped.Crusaders calendar. We start taking wheels off, raising coils and/or putting our cars away entirely right around this time. It was a small BBQ event. Most likely the last time I’ll be seeing most of these cars until next spring. This year it was held at Euroline Performance in Mississauga.
I may be seeing more of E46s in the future
I THINK this EK was on toyos. He also had awesome Status seats.
Toronto’s coolest Porsche just got better. I beleive the seats are new and the RS/RSR? bumpers were added too. Love it.
Cool E92, but seriously, if you can afford this, you can probably afford real wheels.
I let my girlfriend take photos at H2Oi. I THINK it was a good idea. On the one hand she caught some very nice candid moments, on the other I had to weed through many many photos of random crap. I do like a lot of these pics though.
Caught me in my mobbin pose.
….Geoffs totally hetero mobbin pose too…
Scraped.Crusaders. and Eurokracy swag. We rep our Quebec friends everywhere.
I think she liked this Mustang.
My face just before I had to change my wheel. I was not amused.
She ended up taking these while I was getting the above done. Not bad
There are three parts to H20i. Cruising the strip, the get togethers and the show. These are the GTGs. Each year dozens of GTGs are announced/scheduled online. A few years ago they centered around the Convention Center. Last year they were at either Taphouse or Roses. Unfortunately, it looks like the property owners of the Roses complex are shutting that area down in the future. On to 115th?
We just gravitated to Taphouse. We were never sure what meet was going down, we just knew it was the place to be.
John’s Bagged Merc. His other Merc, a bagged 190E is for sale check out @thebrightlight on Instagram, if you’re interested.
We saw A LOT of lovely Caddys this year. We’re posting a special one later on.
SquuaadTSX. Much was said about this car.
Looney Low, we always post this car.
Damn, B6s got me again.
What’s H2Oi without some Imprezas? lol
Jess Kangs EF.
I don’t always like VWs but when I do, they’re 2 instagram queens. @farklefitment’s green hatch and @corrrrrrigan’s red one.
@ladeedubxo’s bagged City Golf. Followed by the rest of my limited VW content.
Sean Murphy’s Mk3. The Stay Strong booth, helped raise funds for Sean who’s rehabilitating from a spinal cord injury. More info.
Fairly certain these are my old beebs. Patented chipping paintjob and all. Almost wish I kept them.
Now on to the cool cars . My favourite car was this M3. No crazy ruined fender fitment, just a nice low stance. Perfect.
This year Vagkraft for me was seen from a much different perspective than usual, and that was the perspective of a vendor. Even though the Pfaff Tuning booth did need attention, I was able to slip away and snap some shots of cars that really stood out to me, so here are my personal favorites.
My all time favorite car of the day. Hats off to the owner.
Have to give props to my bro for winning this year for the third year in a row, killin it!
Sean’s beautiful mk3, we wish you a full recovery my friend.
AirAssisted showed up with their laid out 50′s Ford pickup, showing everyone in the air game how it’s done.
Ladeedub’s City got the air treatment as well, and it was oh so good!
Frankie though not in the show, still creates a buzz everywhere this car goes.
Second favorite to the TT was this Beetle, god I couldn’t get enough of this thing!
You know when there is that one car every year that sticks in your head, and you keep seeing it at all the meets and shows, but never meet the guy/girl…well that is whats happening for me with this E30 M3. (and even with this love, I still didn’t get a full shot of it <– idiot)
Lets not forget Carm’s E30 posted up right next to the M3.
And if Carm is there, you know Manolo is there
Sniped Dave…but he noticed.
Shayan’s beauty B6
Luxury Abstract wheels making an appearance.
All in all another great year for a very chill show. Good friends, good crowd, great prizes and some sweet cars.
After Cars and Coffee and Subaru Hypermeet came the TIres23 BBQ. Year in and year out the BBQ events that local parts stores put one are my favourite. Maybe I’m just a sucker for free food. Definitely wasn’t missing the Tires23 event either. I’ve only been there 10 times or so this summer alone .
Awesome looking Prelude. Don’t see these stanced out often.
Matt recently shot this 86 for a print feature.
I see overfendered, kitted out Silvias and think, THIS IS WHATS MISSING IN MY LIFE.
Pretty sure this car won the sound off. Eardrums certainly thought so.
Thought I missed this car when he left the Subaru Hypermeet early. Luckily caught it here
Brian’s boner dissipated long enough for me to snap this pic. EF fiend.
Not much needs to be done for 1Ms to look awesome.
Previously a metallic blue. The plastidip Camo green was lookin good.
After a quick pitstop at Cars and Coffee I made my way over to the 2013 Subaru Hypermeet. I felt like there was a tad more variety this year compared to previous years. HREs would not have been seen before. Neither would that Forester trailer combo.
This. Pretty much the car I lusted after in high school Blue GC, with rally style (Compomotive, Impuls etc) wheels.
Satin red Plastidipped GD. Well done.
My old wheels!! The owner is still happy with them. Even sporting the same 2+ year old paint job. Industrial rust paint FTW.
Tremcladed by the owner on his driveway. Impressize. My tremcladed bumper on the other hand looks like ass.
The addition of the BRZ, is much welcomed.
His neighbor has a pretty sweet Trans Am. Why are almost all muscle cars automatic.
The Caddy has a lot of work to be done. It will be one of the most complete VW builds in Toronto.
