I had skipped out on the 2015 festivities. The traffic and drunk hooliganism from 2014 put me off for a whole year. Fortunately, last year was REALLY H2Oi, with constant tropical storm/hurricane conditions. I didn’t miss much. Initially, I hadn’t planned on trekking down for the 2016 event either. But at the last second I […]
I was initially excited to go to the BMW/Mercedes/Audi TrueNorth event. There were tons of people sharing my views on Facebook leading up to the event. After arriving at the “show” I thought I took a wrong turn somewhere and wound up at a showroom or service lot. Maybe its the initial purchase price, or the […]
When your friends are all VW fanboys you simultaneously grow an appreciation and a hatred for all things Volkswagen. You appreciate the builds and comradery. You hate the constant VW talk and the unwarranted brand elitism and fetishism. I’m fairly certain if I were friends with a group of people in another car niche, I’d have […]
FITTED Ontario Place was a great show. The organizers decided a second venue to compliment their Brampton show. I thought the location they chose worked out well. Its a central location is much easier to get to than the Brampton one. I really need to work on mixing up my photo angles. I only realized once editing these […]
Maybe I’m biased because I used to own a Subaru, but the JDM parts shop definitely put on better shows that the Euro shops in the GTA. I may be biased again as the JDM shops always offer free food and drinks. I also have a soft spot for clean EFs. Or THE cleanest EF. […]
A few weeks ago I got a call from my buddy Martino from Garage Collective saying he was going to Gridlife and had an extra seat. Having no idea what, when or where Gridlife is, I obliged. Why not, what’s the worst that could happen. I love road trips, and the idea of going to […]
There are 3 staples in our year. Eurokracy, H20i and Fitted. We’ve been attending FITTED for over 4 years now, going back to the second ever Stretch and Poke event at Lakeshore. We’ve gone from casual attendees to now being able to bring 2 builds and a booth. This year we had Danny’s 1.8T swapped […]
I had a few things on my plate this past Weekend. The Subaru Spring Fling, errands at a buddies house in the boonies North of Pickering, Steve’s shop to mount some wheels/tires, the Eurotouch Tuning BBQ and the Krispy Kreme meet. Unforturnatly I haven’t been able to find my camera charger and the low battery indicator […]
Although the weather this week disagrees, show season in Toronto is slowly getting under way. The first show of 2015 was the BMW/Mercedes True North BBQ held at Eurocharged. It was in North York so the drive out wasn’t too bad and I was able to convince Danny and a few others to come out from […]
The first Topp Drift event is coming up fast. It’s scheduled for April 12th at Shannonville. To get us in the mood for drifting again, we’re posting pics from an event last year. Steve’s E30 has been decommissioned for this season. He’s moved on to an E46 chassis. Link to his build, HERE. And in […]
Just a small update on the MONEY GANG E46. I stopped by at Steve’s shop to pick up my car. I needed to replace the alternator…..that died on the way to Niagara Falls. I also stopped by at GT Custom Exhaust to say hello to Matt. Now that the E46 has wheels and suspension on it’s starting […]
I can attribute the late publication of this article down to Canada’s long winter. Those in the Canadian car community are forced to endure 5-6 months of drab, bleak, and desolate winters. All of which culminate in little to no original content within those months. So I’ve saved a few photo sets from summer for […]
Money Gang Steve`s life for the last 10 months or so through the cameras of Devo.
VAGKraft 2014. Every year I go to take photos. I end up taking way more photos of non VAG cars than the name would suggest. Luckily, Geoff will be able to cover the rest. I can’t pass up a photo with a Quattro, even if its stock. When Porsche and Audi, get into bed together. […]

Moving west of the city has its benefits and drawbacks. The major drawback being the driving distance to Mosport and Shannonville. Using a 4.0 V8 to get there doesn’t help. I’m just unable to attend all of the events. Luckily I can just post Devo’s videos. More of his work here: Original Sin.

It felt awesome to get the first show/event under belt. Winter needs to frickin die. The weather was great enough to warrant only t-shirts. That made the TOPP Drift season opener even better. First and foremost we were there to watch and support Steve and his e30. #kristofflovesthis From show car to drift slut. I’m […]
