Organisation, civility, and standards. Three things that lack from every big tuner meet in the GTA. The younger tuner crowd just can’t seem to hold its composure when they’re in a mob setting. While they’re marginally organised, they are far from civil. Burnouts, revving, racing up and down the aisles. Things you only see […]
Another month another Cars and Coffee, even though I haven’t posted any pics from the others yet. This was the first C&C I was able to make this year. And I was able to catch a few cars I haven’t seen before. Including the LaFerrari, 512BB and the 959. My car obsession as a child was […]
Devil in a blue dress. I now believe in love at first sight. When this Riviera pulled up to the BBQ I instantly swooned. The 70’s were responsible for so many big luxury barges. Occasionally they turn out extraordinarily elegant. This Buick Riviera with immaculate deep blue paint and hideaway front lights was hands down my favorite […]
Cars, and free coffee and timbits in one location? Count on me there. Typically when someone says domestics we think of shitbox sedans. Luckily the domestics here are all actually desirable. I’m told this is a ’32 Ford with a Chevy small block. Still the coolest hood in the game. Not often do cars in […]
Dart, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, Corvette, Corvette. Few things have me waking up at 7am on a Sunday. That line up will do it. Yesterday was the first Cars and Coffee event held at Engineered Automotive. They’re held the first Sunday of every month in Vaughn. The early time of 8-11am seems to deter most of the riff […]
Just got around to editing the few shots I took at the Autoshow. Not often…or ever are the stars of the show from Ford. The Ford GT and Mustang GT350R were by far the most noteworthy cars there. One is a legit supercar built in Canada the other is a factory V8 track. They both […]
We’ve been heading to the Autoshow as a group for about 4-5 years now. It’s not quite as good as it was back in the hay day when the show included the Skydome but it always has its highlights. This years highlight was undoubtedly the cars at Ford. Not often are we excited to see […]
Coors Banquet has a small fleet of these across Canada. I can’t remember another promotional vehicle that’s cooler than this. The only thing that would make this better are bags. And it sounded as good as it looked.
Money Gang Steve`s life for the last 10 months or so through the cameras of Devo.
Cars and Coffee is underway. They are now held once a month at Engineered Automotive’s shop. Siince I’ve moved to the west end, I like the new location much more 🙂 it also has the added benefit of allowing people to have a look into the shop floor. Which turned out to be of […]
This was our first visit to a Megaspeed/Performance World show. I felt it was a good kickoff to show season. Though the chilly weather outside did nothing to agree. I did see some facebook statuses at the smaller show size this year. However for new visitors like us, we did not notice such. What we […]
AE Performance was Paul Walker’s shop. You know he was a legit car guy when you see multiple E36 M3 LTWs, 850CSI, a BMW 2002 Touring Alpina and a Volvo 1800.
The Goodwood Revival is THE historic racing event. Brings back the days when driver had to tip toe cars around the track. Add rain into the mix, and you get this. Kenny Brack, something about Swedes that make them so good at going sideways. Video of Brack going a bit more sideways. Also added Chris […]
When Matt Morana first told me there was a car show in Oshawa. I figured J bodies, minitrucks, tramp stamps and wife beaters. Turns out it was a muscle car show. I love the whole rat rod look. W orks well with trucks too. Although the ones below might change your mind. LOVED this green. […]
Geoff, Matt and I sucked it up and headed to Cars and Coffee yesterday morning at Bayview Village. The turn out wasn’t the best tbh. But it made up for it in quality. Porsche 911, 928, 997 GT3RS, Ferrari 355, Jag E Type, swapped BMW E28, E30 M3s, Lotus Esprit, 7 and Exige, Aston Martin […]
Close your eyes and you’ll think you’re apart of the DRM series from the 70’s. That 1L 3 cylinder motor and a small turbo make for some of the best spooling sounds I’ve ever heard. The new Formula Ford machine will help up and coming drivers test their mettle and work their ways up to […]
No where else do these V8s looks more on the edge for an entire lap. Bathurst has its section at the top of the mountain and at the bottom of the Chase where they look very unstable but nothing like Pukekohe’s constant
